Reynolds says changes to PIP are necessary because too many young people are not in work, education or training PIP isn't related to employment. It enables many disabled people to work. Stopping disabled people getting PIP wont help them into work. It'll have the opposite effect

I am no longer disabled” The reason why is because she earns over $1,450 from working There is something called a Substantial Gainful Activity rule in social security. If you earn over a certain amount from working it disqualifies you This is not new. This rule has always been apart of the social security program There is a very obvious flaw in this system. Rent prices and cost of living is so expensive, most people can’t live on just SS. But the limits on job income to disqualify you are very low This means it keeps people trapped in this low income level and many people are disabled and should be given the help
