Uber driver realizes he picked up an old friend he hasn't seen in 20 years after having a 30-second conversation with him. Love this. The video was shared by 'Danny' the driver of the Uber on TikTok. The story didn't end in the Uber. The two later reconnected in the comments section of TT after Danny shared the video. Danny's friend, John Johnson, found the video and left a comment. never thought I’d be compared to the United Healthcare shooter but here’s the tale of two lives... both wrecked by the failures of the American healthcare system, who chose two drastically different paths: – In 2021 I was diagnosed with a preventable disease, permanently lost multiple major organs across 7 surgeries, and got stuck with a $1.8m hospital bill – in 2023, Luigi Mangione had a botched, likely unnecessary back surgery that similarly cost him millions and left him in debilitating pain for life we were both victims of a broken system and developed a deep disillusionment with healthcare but we responded in polar opposite ways. I chose to channel my daily pain into building what I believe will be a world-changing, multi-billion-dollar healthcare company – Superpower. our mission? to transform healthcare from reactive sick care to proactive health optimization—making companies like United Healthcare more obsolete in the process. Luigi, consumed by his suffering, made a different choice. he assassinated, in cold blood, a man with a family—the CEO of United Healthcare. the truth is, the world doesn’t need more darkness, anger, or destruction. it needs bold solutions. it needs light. it needs people willing to build what’s missing. we can’t fix this system by tearing it down violently but we can replace it with something better and brighter. that's why I'm dedicating my life to building this company, Superpower because we all deserve the world's best healthcare.
