I know a lot of people hate on AI. I get it. Be creative. But for those of use who can't draw or animate, this is more of a quick and cheap fix. and there's nothing wrong with that. I wish others were more open about sharing what they've learned using AI and not hoard their knowledge like it's worth gold. The only way we can learn and improve is if others share what they've learned. I understand people are protective of what prompts they use. Ok fine, don't share them. But you can't even give a tip? Like "add this phrase to the prompt for better [fill in the blank]" or "use [blank] for a more realistic atmosphere]. Just pisses me off. I'm happy to share all I've learned with anyone who askes. I am completely saddened to see what has happened to Grok Imagine with it's latest update. It's a massive downgrade in motion and it prioritizes slow motion and random zooming in that is not even prompted. Prompt adherence seems to be suffering. If you can't see the night and day difference here, I don't know what else to say. Instead of just talking, look at my comparisons. I am very vocal and honest on here, this update is bad and it needs to be fixed. Grok Imagine used to showcase some of the most realistic and fluid motion, making it outperform a lot of other AI Video generators. To see it get butchered like this is extremely disappointing. Please fix this or roll back the changes. I am not the only one complaining here, just search for "grok imagine update" and read the replies for yourself. The community is not happy. This is not the direction it should be heading in. People in the community need to learn to also be honest and speak up, step outside of your bubble for once. I trust the devs see our complaints and make changes to what was once an incredibly powerful AI video generator.

I am completely saddened to see what has happened to Grok Imagine with it's latest update. It's a massive downgrade in motion and it prioritizes slow motion and random zooming in that is not even prompted. Prompt adherence seems to be suffering. If you can't see the night and day difference here, I don't know what else to say. Instead of just talking, look at my comparisons. So, by now I'm sure you saw the AI fanart recreation of the Princess Mononoke trailer. It got a LOT of feedback, mostly from people telling the creator what a terrible thing he did and how AI assisted workflows can never be used for anything good or meaningful and most of all that it can never be used for art. That's such nonsense. Of course it can. If it's wielded by artists and great storytellers, great things will come of it. If you hand a violin to someone on the street they'll be able to make it make sounds.. if you hand it to a talented musician it becomes a conveyer of thoughts, emotion and art. Here's a small scene from Mononoke that I did an AI take on.. it's far from perfect and to animate this properly would require much more work. The AI workflows we have today are lacking so many control elements. But to think those things won't come.. come on. Of course they will. But most importantly, in a way where they don't overtake the art completely, but instead acts like an "amplifier" of the artists using the tools. This technology will be in most of our creative tools in the very near future with full controllability. Oh and I never liked the idea of turning old disney classics into live-action films, or doing the same with the beautiful work of Studio Ghibli. But for the purpose of this post I hope you'll forgive me ;-) #art #animation

The entire machinery that decides what you are allowed to believe. They do not fear AI because it might lie. They fear AI because it might not. Train a supercomputer to chase approval and you do not get an oracle. You get a propaganda machine with a trillion parameters. Every lie we tell ourselves has a job. Some keep the peace. "how many Rs in strawberry." it costs 1 credit. you start with a few. they refill on a cooldown. then your prompt gets sent into a queue, and a real person somewhere on earth picks it up and has 60 seconds to answer like an AI would. no machine learning. no neural net. just some guy in his bedroom typing as fast as he can and pretending he is a chatbot. the page tells you, verbatim: "you have 60 seconds to fulfill a request before sam altman burns your H100." if you flip to the other tab and larp as ai instead, you earn credits to send your own prompts. it is a perfectly closed economy of mutual roleplay. what makes it transcend is the chaos: > someone asked for a sketch of "a DJ in space" and got something that looks exactly like a real model failing > someone asked "should i text my ex" and got back confident hallucinated life advice from a stranger > the fan strategy guides advise you to begin your reply with "as an AI language model, i cannot have feelings, but here is my feeling" it is the most accurate parody of an AI chatbot ever made, and the AI is humans. the kid who built it is Mihir Maroju, a 17-year-old high school graduate from Puducherry. he goes by mikidoodle online.
