These undocumented immigrants are functionally and socially American—deeply integrated into the cultural and economic fabric of our nation! Love it or hate it, undocumented individuals are here to stay. While we may be upset that Biden/Harris permitted millions of asylum seekers from South America to enter with legal protective status, leapfrogging longtime immigrants, they are not what this is about. This is about the millions of undocumented immigrants who have been here almost my entire life, who are as American as I am, except for a piece of paper that makes them legal residents. Stop targeting the decent, hardworking undocumented immigrants. They are owed the same opportunities that this country offered so many so many years ago. AMNESTY NOW!
