Go for Your Guns is genuinely one of the best music albums imo, I got into it when I was very into funk music, and it was quite a mindfuck to learn about The Isley Brothers and how influental and damn near immortal they are.

that album and isleys themselves some of my all time favorites too, they’re one of the most influential bands of all time and been around for so so long. they’re one of those bands that most would KNOW but wouldn’t think to give their flowers to, but isleys deserve it infinitely
