This video is so wild … Feels like a lifetime ago. 🤘🏼🏈

Love Applewhite openly talking shit to the DBs

They let lil Nunez score twice against them lol

Major>Simms. I’ll forever die on this hill.

It feels like a lifetime ago because it was. That was 27 years ago. And I was at that game. That’s the infamous Mike Leach game.

I hope nobody’s lifetime is 27 years. 😂

Cole Pittman was on that 1999 UTexas team. And he sadly passed at 21 just 1.5 years later.

Loved Applewhite.

Crazy game, makes me feel old..like a lot of things these days. OU up 17-0 in a blink of an eye. Horns claw back to tie it up before halftime. Hodges Mitchell ended up having a helluva game. But the color of the endzones being flipped? What in the actual F were they thinking?

What a game. Major was such a boss. And aa Westlake Chaparral who was a freshman during his Senior year in HS, these were the moments we all knew Nunez would deliver (albeit we expected them coming out of the backfield). The guy was a HS football legend. Dude could fly!

My first OU game. I am undefeated when going to Dallas and always willing to receive free tickets. 🤘🏻

Major was a damn good leader.

So odd to hear Craig Way on color.

Applewhite is a fucking legend

Da Major

That’s because it was a lifetime ago

When you here Bill though on the call, you know it’s been a while. #old

Former #Chap Ryan Nunez from Applewhite!!
