Yoon Jaechan talks about Kim Hyeyoon comforting him during Salmokji filming: “She’s really a good sunbae and colleague” While I was filming the movie, I was also filming a drama at the same time… It was weighing on my mind, and at that time I also wasn’t really able to sleep properly, so my head was hurting a lot, and while trying to get through the filming I kept thinking, “ah, my condition isn’t good today” and I was kind of lying face down in the car like this, and then… our god-Hyeyoon sunbaenim patted my back and said, “just feel everything as much as you want to feel it, you can use all the time you need, so take all the time you need and do the acting you want as much as possible.” She said something like that, and I think it comforted me a lot at the time. Timing is everything, isn’t it? And sometimes being in the right place at the right time feels well, timely, or even predetermined. With wildlife photography, it’s all about being in the right place at the right time. The more you know about your subject, the better because it increases your chances of being where you need to be when you need to be there. There is also an element of just letting go and taking what is given to you. It’s always best to have no expectations at all when it comes to wildlife. On this morning, everything did fall perfectly into place, and I was able to capture this dreamy scene of a beautiful Dalmatian pelican and its reflection on smooth water as it came in for a landing. Oh yeah, the glorious snow-capped mountains in the back were definitely a treat too. The days prior to this, that mountain range was hidden by clouds. I didn’t even know it was there. 🤪

Scarface is widely regarded as a classic today, but when it first came out, the reception was brutal. Steven Bauer, who played Manny, says it was so painful that for years he and Al Pacino barely even spoke about the film. He explains… “Scarface is great to be a part of now. For years, it was dismal - like everybody associated with Scarface was a leper - people got very wimpy about Scarface really quickly. As soon as the reviews were out… Our peers came to see the movie in the premiere, right? There were two premieres, one in New York, one in LA, and people came to see it and they were like, ‘Wow, what a movie…. The next day, the reviews are out, and all the papers — this is before the internet, okay? - so you get just the conventional news media outlets - and 90% of them gave Scarface a horrible review. Like horrible, really, really insulting, injurious stuff. Personal attacks on Pacino and Brian De Palma, the director, and on Oliver, the writer... It was really, really mean because the country was going through a politically correct sort of thing - they were like, "This is like a new wave of violence in the movies, oh!" It’s nice because when I see Al - we can finally talk about it, because...for years, we couldn’t even talk about it. We’d be like, “Oh yeah, Scarface, yeah, yeah...” It was so sad! Because the movie was so great! And then it was like this thud, and it lasted like 10 years… Anywhere I’d go, it was like, ‘You’re that guy who was really good in that really terrible movie.’ And I’d be like, ‘How could you say that?’ And they’d go, ‘Well, you were good.’ And I’m like, ‘Okay, but I don’t care. What about the movie?’ And they go, ‘Oh, come on, you gotta admit it. It was like way over the top. It was like so exaggerating,’ blah, blah, blah, blah.…and I’d be like, ‘You’re a pussy!”

That’s the difference between success and failure.” He offers the following advice to aspiring founders: “A company is a group of people gathered together to create a product or service. That’s really all a company is. So you have to really believe in what you’re creating and know in your heart and mind that this is something that matters and that the world ought to have.” Believing whole-heartedly in what your building is especially important for raising capital, Elon argues: “I think it’s important to show investors that you’re all in. For example with Tesla, the fact that I invested all the money I had and was all in — I literally had to borrow money from friends to pay rent in 2008 — made a huge difference to investors and convinced them to invest in Tesla at the same time that GM and Chrysler were going bankrupt. 👤i thought that story was really cute…that you kissed each other to catch the flu 👤 this really feels like ‘divorce camp’ (*tv show); how did this come about? 🐰 it was probably right before the debut line up was decided, right? 🦊 yeah 🐰 it was the end of the year and it was a hard time for all the trainees…nobody could sleep or eat…and the flu was really going around at the time so a couple of people got to sit out of it…yeonjun hyung was one of them and i really wanted to sit out of it too because it means you can rest so as a joke, i rubbed against hyung and was like “hyung~ pass your flu onto me~” but the next day, i was shedding tears of blood because i was so sick 👤🤣 “shedding tears of blood” 🐰 it was the first time i got that sick, my body hurt so much, it felt like it would shatter….but the other members…something that made me feel really unfair was that if the other members were like “i feel like i caught the flu”, the dance teacher would be “okay okay, go home and rest” but starting from me, they started stopping us like “leave after you do this! finish this and then go!”…after the dance lesson, i looked like i was about to die so the dance teacher was like “this is not it, you should go home too” so on my way back to the dorm, i was sobbing like crazy because i was so sad like “why didn’t they let me sit it out 😭” because i was so sick…! 👤 so did it pass on to you when you were like “hyung, pass it onto me~” 🐰 probably..i wasn’t in contact with anyone else that got it and i was only like that with yeonjun hyung so i think it probably passed on then

He never really cries unless it’s before the fans. He suddenly started crying bitterly, saying he feels pathetic for not being able to do anything. He said you were like that but he couldn't do anything so he felt pathetic and continued to cry. I also felt sad. But we knew you’d overcome it, so… we just presented you the cap. ⛰️ That’s when you gave me the cap. It was around my birthday, right? 🐰 Yup. All the older members truly were worried about you. ⛰️ I know, I heard. That was when… I usually don’t have too much ups and downs on my emotions. There were many things that happened, with lots of frustrating and bitter moments… The thing is, what I can control was only so much, but I couldn't handle it when the emotion went wild out of my hand. I couldn’t handle it. But the things all went the other way from now I planned on the heart so it exploded. 🐰 You did well.

I’m telling this after all this time, but… I was in another place. I heard there was quite a fuss, I was shocked and went outside, but everything was over already. Mike Brown was the last person picked on our bantam team at 14 years old. And he was the only player to make it to the NHL. Let me repeat… He was the last player picked to our team at 14… and made it farther than anyone else on that team. How? By not comparing his journey to anyone else’s and by outworking everyone ahead of him. For all the kids out there who may feel out of it - this is how it’s done. Control the things you can control. And GET. TO. WORK. A lot of really talented players get passed by absolute workers when all is said and done. Mike is a great example, and it was so awesome talking to him about his journey on our latest podcast episode.
