the fact that this image came THIS close to being real is actually sickening. imagine they weren't there to stop that from happening.

you see, it IS backfiring, people who want to help like the examples could be different ages, and not see chats or have ANY IDEA whats going on. preds can easily buy accounts to talk to children. its not safe at all and is VERY bad for the game. they only react because their stock is down, and of course because their stock went down people started buying into the dip, so their stock is back up again so its not going to change for a while.

Having age check makes roblox still a problem because like some adults are wrongfully as younger and kids are wrongfully older after using a age check

Of course it was lol. All this update has done is made it harder for real users to talk to each other, while creating a market for 'verified' accounts. Not to mention, this just makes it MORE enticing for predators to take kids off-platform where they can say anything they want.

This is horrible, but I am not surprised. Age estimation was a bad update and doesnt even work. I got miss put in a 21+ category and im not kidding whenever I go 1/3 of the people are 13, or younger.

This is disturbing to look at when its happening, other people (likely children) are warning them about meeting them irl. I expect some form of bystander effect where they watch it all happen. They know what is going to happen and they can't do anything to stop it.
