So I've been watching The Walking Dead with my son. I've seen it before but I'm rewatching it and you have to look at the show like what's happening today.. My hubby and I are self-reliant with our own beef and game in the freezer, several generators including one hooked up to the house permanently, our own well and we are 20 miles from the nearest town. Our country neighbors (which also includes amazing Mennonites) and us have bonds that make protecting each other obvious...the neighbors also have veggies, chicken and eggs to trade. ...and hell, my hubby and his buddies who LOVE to hunt sit in their deer blinds for hours just antsy to shoot something!
