This vortex breakdown I captured by drone last year will still go down as one of my favorite captures. Can watch this footage on repeat. #tornado #wxtwitter

How wide was it where it touched the ground? Its sides are so beautiful and smooth. (Obviously I’m a just a regular person who loves what all you storm chasers share with us!)

That is amazing, beautiful and terrifying all in one! I live in Oregon and we don’t have tornadoes (thank goodness). This did come through last weekend though. It was pretty interesting to watch. The problem is, we were REALLY dry here. The hay in on the wires was unsettling.

How much gimbal vs post-processing? Wind that extreme usually needs serious work on both fronts.

I was recently asked if I had ever captured wolves howling on camera. This is one of my all-time favorite captures.

LARGO TORNADO: Lori Gill captured this video of a mobile home in the Ranchero Village neighborhood being tossed by a tornado that touched down in Largo on Wednesday night. Any one of our strongest summer thunderstorms can produce a brief #tornado. #Florida

Watch as this intense multi-vortex tornado rapidly expands on top of me near Thurman, Iowa. You can see the vortices rip across the road just ahead of me!

Regardless of what happens today, this will go down as one of my favorite plays of all time. Fake punt conversion on an NFC title game. Can't beat it.

Terrifying footage captured by Stephanie Fishbaugher today shows a tornado spreading debris near Hwy 52 and Marion, just outside of Rochester Minnesota. Car’s and trucks on a standstill as the tornado passed 🌪️ This is just one of several confirmed tornadoes in today’s tornado outbreak across SE Minnesota. #mnwx #minnesota #tornado

LOOK at the rare capture of a descending vortex breakdown bubble in this Iowa #tornado yesterday! Similar to how tornadoes typically form, the tornado dissipation process is also usually a top-down evolution. The descending vortex breakdown bubble starts near the top of the dynamic pipe as a pocket of lower pressure, descending air. When tornadoes form, the dynamic pipe of lower pressure air drills toward the surface and condenses. Multiple this by -1 and you have a descending vortex breakdown bubble, or reverse dynamic pipe. SCIENCE with the best sensors we have - our eyes #Dominator #stormchasing

I am now passing Andover, Kansas where this #tornado happened 3 years ago as captured by the Dominator Drone. The live stream here on FB is what prompted the #tornado warning and the sirens being sounded

Check out this footage of a rare Low-Precipitation #tornado earlier today in Star Valley, #AZwx! Yea.. that’s Arizona! It was captured by Mark VN, who safely watched the twister form his property, which sustained minimum damage. #wxtwitter
