She turned off comments. Be wary. Those studs were supporting the weight of the steps and she removed half of them PLUS 2 supporting the upper landing. The whole staircase will sag and crack ALL that glass and maybe collapse. Do not remove random studs w/o replacing support.

She responded. Those weren’t load-bearing, they were there to hang drywall. And she hired professionals to analyze the probability.

Social media is a microcosm of life... comment section full of people who don't have the 1st clue what they're talking about being loud and wrong. Didn't take much to searching to find out she consulted professionals & the studs removed were not load-bearing

But how do you control the temp? We have a space like this under our stairs too but it gets extra cold and extra hot.

My general inclination is to just let people enjoy things, but I'll just say I hope she spoke to an architect before removing the supports under the stairwell. It looks cool though!
