The best tactic I used for a while for mad customers was to make up a fake worker and blame him for everything “Omg this newer guy Jake was with us I’m so sorry he’s a total dumbass what did he do now” 😂😂 Whole time I’m the one who messed up

That was always my tactic back when I was in customer service ages ago. If the customer feels like they’re getting an emotional response from you and it’s on their side, they’ll almost always apologize for being an asshole in the beginning, and then praise how great you are for caring. Worst about every time.

Hahaha. This only works if you are able to redo the job. If the customer is pissed and you can't redo the job then you are out of luck.
