Right, so in this narrative everyone has to publicly acknowledge and support the beliefs of a trans person but the beliefs of a non-trans person have to be kept quiet. This is oppressive. It’s also unconstitutional. It’s yet another reason to leave California.

NEW: Los Angeles firefighter rappels out of a helicopter to rescue someone from the Los Angeles River who was trying to save their dog. Toxic masculinity strikes again. According to reports, the man "jumped in the flowing water" for his dog but then got stuck. The dog was able to swim safely out of the river and suffered minor injuries. The man was sent to a local hospital and suffered minor injuries as well. According to LA Fire, the dog was "happy to be alive, and eager to reunite with his human."

She says the teacher’s reasoning was they were being taught about “cultures” and this was somehow a part of it. I find that hard to believe, as does the Mum, so she has stated she intends now to write to the school formally to address it. This is totally unacceptable.

He was told to get out of the car and get on his knees but in his state of panic, forgot to put the car in park. The car with the children continued to move and another officer jumped in to stop it. The police detained the man while an ambulance was called to the scene to transport the children to the hospital.
