This was an incredibly challenging episode to produce. As we reached the final stages, the hard drive failed, resulting in the loss of all our work. We had to start over from scratch and, due to time constraints, ended up cutting nearly half of the content.

Our kickoff, we were a bit behind every time, trying to change a lot. We did a lot of changes from the start of kickoff all the way to this tournament. And in the end of the day, I think I have an amazing team, amazing players, all of them did everything they could. All of them trusted me, trusted yaotziN. Today didn't work, but I think we should be proud of our journey and now it's time to go back to the drawing board and start working for the rest of the year."

For the first time in any Transformers film, the human lead gets his own suit which he can use to fight the Terrorcons in Transformers Rise of the Beasts. This is of course Noah's Exo-suit. This suit was a lot of fun to work out and design. We tried to maintain a lot of similarities between it and Mirage since that was where the suit was coming from, but of course the pieces couldn't be 1:1 from Mirage. We ended up designing a lot of the pieces from scratch and the pieces that we could take from Mirage were massively modified to work well for the far smaller scale and tighter proportions of Noah. Because I had developed a procedural setup for all of our hero characters texturing and look development, the textures and look development of the suit were directly taken from Mirage and updated by our artists to work well for the suit through manual painting and tweaks. It was crucial that the suit still read as Mirage's body parts and not entirely new random metal parts. We handed the asset to WetaFX for the last sequence and they did an excellent job of integrating it beautifully into the live action footage and bringing the suit to life on Noah.

One of the biggest ever conjobs the world needs to wake up to is Autism. Thanks to the work of pioneers like Del Bigtree and Dr Andrew Wakefield, many lives have been saved from the incredibly awful effects of vaccinations: ALL vaccinations. I credit Dr Wakefield, and the mother of my children, for the fact that we managed to avoid 99% of all childhood vaccinations for them. When I was approached by the mother of TWO Autistic children who woke up to the frankly horrifying "Newspeak" inversion of "Neurodivergence", I knew we had to tell her story. She instinctively knew that the neurodivergence narrative was to stop parents of damaged children from questioning everything. To celebrate their neurodivergence instead of doing something about it. The fact is that autism as we currently know it it caused over OVER TOXIFICATION. Mainly due to vaccines in the children at an early age, but also due to other factors as she outlines in this passionate interview with her and my co-dounder at 104Publishing Abby Wynne 🌻 We think it's such an important subject, we decided to publish her story as a book and an audiobook, which you can get (for free if you can't afford to donate) here:

Had some hiccups along the way with the rental car but we made it on time and Clark received his 18th dose of the treatment! We continue to be filled with hope that this treatment is halting the disease and changing the future for kids with this disease.

Tackling one of London’s largest knotweed patches… Knotweed had begun to spread out of control on the lower Roding, and had begun to threaten the rare tidal reedbeds on this stretch of the river. With the authorities unwilling to take action, I located, mapped and photographed all the patches, got funding from the Empower Rivers fund and got the Protect Earth charity to come and spray them at a discount rate. All of the stands are now dead, so we ideally need to remove them so we can see what fresh growth needs spraying next year. 10 volunteers today came out to help. Because it’s not allowed to move knotweed due to contamination risks, the easiest thing to do was to burn it on site. We got a bonfire going and liberally feed it a mixture of knotweed and buddleia over the whole day. The stand of knotweed was so massive that it had collected floating rubbish over many years, so we removed dozens of bags of this as we went. After revealing around half an acre of tidal reedbed, ready to be recolonised by native plants, we moved to another patch of knotweed and buddleia and did the same again. Although the work was hard, it was very satisfying liberating the reed beds from their covering of rubbish and invasive species. Watching the tide come in, put out the remains of the bonfire and soak the ground we had cleared makes us look forward to spring and how nature will begin to restore itself on the Roding marshes following our efforts.

The 28th of August was the final day of submission of the final list, why it took place then is because the ANC undergoes an extensive process of vetting and interviewing and holding community meetings, all of this take time. We are very robust in how we’ve improved our candidate selection process. The very last portion of the batch is when the system started kicking them out. That was before 5 o’clock. We are not discussing here a lack of compliance on the part of the African National Congress with regards to meeting the deadline but a batch of names on the uploaded list that were kicked out. We are asking the IEC to consider for submission all those candidates who had already been captured in the IEC system but were kicked out. The second thing we are asking is to get to the bottom of why the very last batch was kicked out. We are asking for an investigation and this will get us to the bottom of the issue. This ties in with the question of are we fighting with the IEC? We are not. We respect and continue to have the full confidence in the integrity of the IEC run processes.
