There’s actually proper validation, and it’s on both sides, client and server side

Interesting. I usually resort to @pocketbase as a clientside local db coz it simplifies the image processing and storage process especially on mobile (even auto-generating thumbnails). I asked because I'm actually working on a pretty similar project with flutter and dart and one of my main concerns has been the tradeoffs at this specific point. For instance, a space / memory concern is duplicate icons uploaded for the same merchant by different users. How do you manage this redundancy?

It actually led me down to an even deeper data design problem. How do you customize and personalize a shared public list while maintaining a fixed immutable original set of common list members. And on an even smaller scale, how do you do the same on attributes of a single object/record?

My brother, try to understand the context and history behind this.. It was never to “steal” his idea.
