@fyodabi Haha no for the latter. I was being ironic because anime looks beautiful from the mid 70s itself and animation isnt like video game graphics. You can check the replies to the original tweet for the explanation if youre interested in the details.

Man, Gintama has to be the best the best marriage between production studio and source material I've ever seen in anime. It is so well made, the fact that I read the manga, I couldn't wait to watch the anime, you just had to see it animated the and get me started on the VAs..
