When Buhari got the ticket, there was an issue with campaign funding, and Buhari was not a money person. So Timipre Sylva and I went to see one of the big-time rich people and held the meeting on his yacht because the man didn't want to be seen with Buhari's people. After the meeting, he agreed to support Buhari with funds, but while coming out of the yacht, a police officer saw us. Timipre was worried that the meeting would get to Jonathan’s ears, and it did. The man was summoned to Abuja and threatened, and that was how we lost that funding. That was when we went to Tinubu and explained the issue to him. Through him, we raised sufficient funds to run Buhari's campaign. Not only that, Osinbajo ran a separate campaign from Buhari, and it was also funded by Tinubu. Bola also hired consultants from America who were doing professional work on Buhari's image. They were the same people who ran Obama's campaign, and I know that cost him over N2 billion. So yesterday, while the entire nation and true lovers of fPMB were mourning and paying their last respect to the dead, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his cronies were walking around Daura town ALL SMILING expressing their desperation with the use of a hired crowd. What a blatant show of disregard and disrespect for the late fPMB, his family, the people of Katsina, and the entire North as a whole. Again, I ask, what exactly did Atiku forget in the Villa that he so desperately wants to go back for? Come 2027, this man must be finally retired to Dubai.

I also visited the grave of the former President, offered prayers for the repose of his soul, and paid tribute to a man whose life was marked by discipline, humility, and unwavering dedication to the service of Nigeria. Yesterday she pulled up to the Bay Area showcase and I just happened to see her in the crowd during my set!!! Anything can happen at the open mic!! We built this showcase with the intention to support and cultivate our locals! This is community! This is the Bay Area artist community showing up for each other!
