This was particularly frustrating to watch, and would leave any reasonable person with righteous disdain for the legal system in Washington State. Robert Barnes is representing Kurt Benshoof, a man who received a 10-year exceptional prison sentence after a King County jury convicted him of felony stalking of his... ex-partner and misdemeanor harassment of her new partner - offenses that involved no alleged physical violence - only alleged protection-order violations via texts, calls, and related conduct in a protracted custody dispute. Barnes was given 10 minutes for his opening pleadings. He was interrupted so many times by an aggressive judge (the balding guy on the left) he could barely get a full sentence out. And the judges questions counted towards his pleading time. It makes no sense. In his rebuttal, he was able to hammer home the most important points.show more

There is no legal system. I watched government prioritize citizens protesting over coordinated bombs next to a vice president. Then bitch about not calling national guard on the protesters and not the bomber. Didn't say shit about all the other protests but encouraged them. Whats that pelosi? @barnes_law They absolutely give far lighter sentences to people for ch'ld sex crimes than this man. We have absolutely regressed as a society. I don't condone th stalker but I don't know anything about the case. The sentence is extremely slanted compared to sex crimes.

He was accused of killing two girls, Betty (age 11) and Mary (age 7). The bodies were found near the house where George lived with his parents. Before his execution, George spent 81 days in prison before he was ever able to see his parents. He spent this time in solitary confinement, in a jail 80 miles from the city. He was questioned without the presence of his parents or a lawyer. His trial lasted only 2 hours, and the sentence was handed down 10 minutes later. The boy's parents were not allowed in the court room, and was subsequently expelled from that city after the trial. He is a teacher of German and History at Wilson’s Hospital School. He was taken from that job in 2022 and thrown into a prison cell by corrupt judges after he refused to endorse transgender ideology. His incarceration is an abomination. Enoch Burke’s removal from Mountjoy Prison is a violation of the order of Judge Brian Cregan of 19 January. That order specifically stated that Enoch Burke was to be detained in Mountjoy Prison in Dublin until further order of the High Court: “AND IT IS ORDERED that the Defendant be conveyed by the Commissioner and Members of An Garda Síochána to Mountjoy Prison and that he thereupon be lodged in Mountjoy Prison to be detained therein until he purges his contempt and is discharged pursuant to further Order of this Court”.
