I saw a 6'4 man dressed as a woman in the grocery store the other day. My reaction, internally, was not "slay, queen". I felt sorry for him. He had his chin up and an air about him as though he had been insulted and his defenses were up. Well, of COURSE he did; he's a MAN IN A DRESS. Growing out his limp, fine hair and putting on garish makeup did not make him a woman, it made him a giant spectacle. Putting on a ridiculous costume and being offended when people notice that is akin to taking a dump in your pants and then being angry because everyone says you stink.
