Imperial shared that the moment that reshaped his path happened in 2021, when his grandmother suffered a mild stroke while also battling Alzheimer's disease at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. According to him, the family's struggle to navigate her condition during a time of limited access to professional help made him realize the absence of a health professional in their household. "During the pandemic, limited po ang interaction, kaya mahirap humingi ng tulong sa mga professionals regarding sa situation ni Mommy... Doon din nag-sink in sa akin na oo nga, wala kaming health-related professional sa family. Aside from losing my passion for Architecture, yung situation din namin ang naging turning point ko, kaya nag-shift po ako sa Nursing," he recalled. When asked about his message to his grandmother, Imperial said he dedicated his achievement to his grandmother, whom he lovingly calls "Mommy." "Para sa'yo ito, Mommy. Kahit hindi mo man masabi nang malinaw, alam kong ramdam mo at naiintindihan mo ang lahat. Ikaw ang isa sa pinakamalaking dahilan kung bakit ako lumaban at nagpatuloy," he said. I was going through Charlie’s memorial for a video and I had not seen this probably since it happened nearly 8 months ago. As I was watching it, I couldn’t help but sob thinking about how many people were there and how all of them were there to celebrate Charlie’s life. I still can’t believe that’s even a sentence. He made such an impact on this world! It’s so easy to get lost in what’s happening right now, that we forget what happened at his memorial. I can’t wait for you guys to see this movie!!!! This is my favorite picture from what was one of the most magical nights I think I’ve ever had with a film. Besides playing Selena, playing the role of Judy Robles and bringing her and her struggles and triumphs with her amazing son, Anthony Robles to life, was one of the great honors of my life. These are the type of movies that the world needs right now more than ever. Inspiring, uplifting, exciting and emotional. At times difficult to watch but so real and so moving. It’s a perfect family movie. It will have you cheering while you hold back the tears. It won’t be out until December 6 in theaters but it’ll be perfect for everyone to see with your families around Christmas. It is our gift to you to introduce the story of this inspiring UNSTOPPABLE family. You need to see this video. It was made by a remarkable 17-year-old named Cannon Van Daele. Cannon gave his life to Christ after watching one of our Easter services online—at just 12 years old. Today, he faces a devastating challenge: stage 4 liver cancer. And yet, Cannon is walking through this storm with unshakable faith and trust in God. I just spoke with him and had the privilege of praying with him. His strength and joy, even in the midst of this battle, is nothing short of inspiring. I’m asking all my fellow believers—please pray. Ask God to touch and heal this young man completely, in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. He’s an example to us all. Let’s lift him up. 🙏

🇺🇸 On this IndependenceDay, while America celebrates freedom, one of our own is fighting for his personal independence — the freedom to walk again. Covington County, Mississippi Deputy Rodney was shot in the line of duty on June 8th. The bullet went through his back left shoulder, lodged under his right clavicle, and struck his spinal cord at C3-C4. From his hospital bed at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, he looks straight into the camera and says it’s an incomplete tear, so he does believe he’ll walk again — although it will take a miracle. He can’t feel from his chest down, but he’s already feeling sensation in his feet here and there. He’s choosing faith over fear, working as hard as he can every single day, and committing to daily updates to inspire others. This young warrior (recently married) is trusting God through it all. On the day we honor throwing off tyranny, let’s rally behind a hero throwing off paralysis. Pray for his miracle. Share his story. Back the blue by lifting him up.
