Received via WhatsApp: Mayor of Harare, Jacob Mafume below is a message I received from a concerned citizen in Harare. It’s being said there is a mining activity happening at corner Harare Drive and Acturus Road less than 50 metres from residential area of Donnybrook Drive, New Mandara. This work is said to being carried out by the Chinese who were given permit to dig illegally in the residential area. Is this something you can look into and provide information pertaining to what is going on? I have attached videos sent to me by a resident of the area.

1/ Yesterday I posted about the revenue inconsistency in the “research” reports that Pudgy is publishing through CoinDesk. In an odd turn, these reports have now been updated to link my tweet as the source for the “1mm toys sold” claim that is at the root of the issue. As you can see below, the report from 2 months ago links out to my post yesterday questioning the numbers. This led me to go out and research and I found a series of inconsistencies from the Pudgy team wrt the revenue numbers they’ve shared through time.

OpenAI's Deep Research is getting a run for its money. Deep Lake was just released, and it's a different take on an AI system that can do deep research on your own data. You can use Deep Lake to build AI search with reasoning on your private and public data. (Look at the attached videos to get an idea of how it works.) If you want to research proprietary and sensitive data, Deep Research won't help you because it's limited to public data. Deep Lake, however, will allow you to use your private data. On top of that, Deep Lake supports multi-modal retrieval from the ground up. It uses vision language models for data ingestion and retrieval so that you can connect any data (PDFs, images, videos, structured data, etc.) You can even use mixed-data queries! Deep Lake can search your data from S3, Dropbox, and GCP. It learns from your queries over time, making the results as relevant to your work as possible!

🚨SCORING RULES ALERT🚨 This is from today's Detroit Tigers at New York Mets game. Here, with Workman on second, Zach McKinstry hits a fly to left that lands, and Workman is thrown out 7-5 at third base. This was ruled a single, and the question has been asked as to why. First, this is the correct scoring, as this is a single. If this were a ground ball to short, and the runner is out 6-5 at third on a ball that would have otherwise been a hit, this would have been a fielder's choice, and the difference is in the wording on rule 9.05(b)(3), which says that you do not score a hit when a: (3) pitcher, the catcher or any infielder handles a batted ball and puts out a preceding runner who is attempting to advance one base or to return to his original base, or would have put out such runner with ordinary effort except for a fielding error. The Official Scorer shall charge the batter with a time at bat but no hit; The key is in the McKinstry play, the ball is handled by an outfielder, and not the pitcher, catcher, or any infielder. Another one of those fun weird scoring rules that is great to have in your back pocket for when it comes up.

I’m extremely excited and honored to share news of my first full length TV score. I was fortunate enough to be invited to contribute music for Lazarus - a forthcoming anime series directed by Shinichirō Watanabe. For those unfamiliar, Shinichirō Watanabe is responsible for the legendary Cowboy Bebop which is one of my favourite shows and also one of the biggest moments in anime history. My work on the Lazarus project is being released as a full Bonobo album on April 11th It’s some of my favorite music I’ve ever made. A single from the album is out today - ‘Dark Will Fall’ featuring the amazing Jacob Lusk on vocals, so massive thanks to Shinichirō-san, Jacob and everyone else who worked on the project. I really hope you enjoy it as much as I did being a part of the journey.

This is Erika walking out onstage the first night of AmFest. As you can see and hear, she does NOT walk out to audio of Charlie saying “I appoint my wife if—God forbid—something happens to me. She’d do a great job.” Walking out to something is it playing as you walk out. Pretty basic stuff. This audio of Charlie was used as part of a 250th America celebration video that was at least five minutes long and played at the start of each of the four days. The first speaker of the day walked out after the video stopped. Erika was the first speaker of day one, and she walked out after the video stopped. This is all a moot point because the main point of contention isn’t whether Erika walked out to it; it’s whether the audio is fake. Candace has no positive proof the audio is fake. Her only “evidence” is she doesn’t have the video. That’s not evidence it doesn’t exist.

This is him reading off a script, with at least this portion of it being written by AI The giveaway: "Another way to say it, and I appreciate the pushback..." This is how AI responds when being asked something like "I don't like how this is worded, come up with a better phrasing," and makes no sense in the context of the surrounding sentences. This means he asked ChatGPT to reword something, and the following sentence is very likely AI generated. Timestamped Source:

I’ve seen it claimed as coming from a few different sources, but as you can see from the video, this is NOT just “look at that obvious AI slop!!” but genuine wildlife footage worthy of study. What do you make of its gait, appearance, and how it interacts within the environment?
