This is my favorite part of parenting. Teaching ur little one NOT to quit/being their hype man. My little often asks me to xyz for them bc they “can’t do it” so my response is always, “TRY, keep trying, try AGAIN, if you still can’t do it, mami will help, but you gotta try 1st”.

The trick is never rush them. If they feel there is a timer kids just panic and shut down.

My son, at two years old, asked me if he could flip the pancakes. I allowed him to flip them and his wrist touched the stove and he got a little burn. To this day, he grieves that fact that I allowed him to fulfill his request. THERE'S NO WINNING!

😂😂 got me screaming “HELL YEAH” in my car at 2am when she flipped it. The suspense was crazy.

I love this, but she played him so good. You could tell him that last couple seconds before she flipped it. She was like now I’m gonna have to make my own pancakes for the rest of my life. Luckily, she caught herself and was like you do the rest. 😂
