My #KISStory Ground Zero. This year marks my 50th yr as a hardcore fan. Originally heard Destroyer at a buddy’s house age 12. I was entranced. My first album bought was #RARO and this was the first song I spun on my turntable & listened to as a 12 /13 yr old kid. Instantly hooked by Paul’s voice. Then.. the whole presentation. Superheros brought to life. The three Kirshner songs were recorded November 1976 @ the RARO dress rehearsals. This was the first time my 13 yr old a$$ saw Kiss ‘live’. The jets of fire in front… smoke… pyro… I was already a solid Kissfreak when this aired spring 1977. I remember clearly. Was at my sister’s house. This aired 12:00 am on a Sat / night / Sun morning. Soooooo good. #KISS : 1976/77

Let's go back to the 90s. The era of Ninja Scroll, pre-Toonami Anime Boom. When I was 12 years old I saw this movie. One of my early exposures to anime. I saw blood, nudity, cursing, etc and was absolutely floored that there were 'cartoons' like this. This scene right here was nuts to a 12 year old.

I managed to catch the last show of the nine inch nails tour. It was amazing. We brought the kids with. First row seats! It was their first live show ever besides orchestras. It melted their faces off. 😂 We brought them to Disney the next day, since we were in LA. Tons of NIN fans were there. My older kid said the NIN show was, easily, the better experience. 😎 Here’s Vessel:
