Before getting married and having kids I thought Married with Children was a hysterical situation comedy tv show. Later in life I realize it was actually a hauntingly chilling documentary

The craziest thing about this show is that Al was a shoe salesman. He had a house, a car, supported a wife, two kids, and a dog. And even though he complained about Peg never cooking, they must have been eating, and he regularly went to a bar with his friends. All on one salary.

The irony being that Peggy was fine as fuck

This isn't funny at all. This is a terrible example of how a man of the house should act. This is a prime example of how they started degrading the healthy masculine image during the 80s/90s so women started to resent their husbands worldwide.

I dunno, Peg is gorgeous as well IMO. Her hair was a little too much but everything else was there in plain sight.

My friend was 1 of the writers for this show. He said its based on 2 actual people. He is always finding humor in everything he sees, which helps to think up show subjects. Definitely 1 of the all time great sitcoms
