Has God chosen some people to go to Heaven and others to go to hell? Some people believe that—but I certainly don’t, nor do I believe the Bible teaches that. The Bible makes it clear: God loves us and wants to spend eternity with us. But He also gives us the freedom to choose. One of my favorite verses is John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Did you catch that? WHOSOEVER ! That means anyone, anywhere, can believe and be saved. With Easter just two days away, I encourage you—think about someone you know who needs to hear this message. Pray for them. Invite them to church. And let’s believe together that they’ll make the most important decision of their lives: to follow Jesus and go to Heaven.
