Cyclist should slow down. When overtaken its not allowed to increase speed so its best to slow down so overtaking is done quickly.

The standard of driving here was appalling & I hope the offender was prosecuted. But as we see time & time again, where is the self-preservation from the lead cyclist? I'd stop pedalling/brake firmly at the start to make that killing machine pass quickly from me, not at the end.
