this was weird, anyone else experience it?

the visuals are terrible, but what happened is technically possible - at first, you threw a Mud Bomb and the rollout went through, and then, you lost CMP against the Lickilicky (this IS possible) and the camera incorrectly focused on your side.

yeah unfortunate situation, the camera was what flagged to me as odd.

Yeah that has happened to me a couple of times before, it looks like you're the one who's about to thow a move but it's actually the opponent 🤷‍♂️

Yea since last season. Weird cmp tie frames. Sometimes it’s the opposite and it seems like they are throwing a move but then randomly it’s me and I miss out on bubbles because I wasn’t expecting to

The old camera dude was fired and they got a geriatric as his replacement.

Yes, sometimes when I click the attack button it start late but I’ll miss the bubbles which ends up costing the game unfortunately

I think I've had that last season, and one time where I even swapped pokemon, but it made me get hit by a charged move before they switched.

I’m guaranteed this is caused by those stupid extra quick attacks. Scopely really has fucked the game in the past month

It's a really common bug in the new system. Happens to me all of the time.

Yes it’s happened to me too. I completely understand why new players would be confused playing Gbl battles 😂

You were still lucky to swipe the bubbles till excellent. For my cases, there was a delay then I could only swipe till good or great only.

Yes, that has happened to me several times. Scopely is too focused on striping features from the game, that they don’t have time to work on the battle league glitches.
