Don't worry our tomato processing plant is coming up soon, you will no longer have to cut tomatoes to cook anymore. We will wipe out all fresh produce and convert it into tomato paste for the whole region. We will change the culture of cooking using fresh tomatoes, watch the 🚀

Bulawayo made a big mistake by allowing these people to come to our city, look at the state of our city now

😂😂😂 at least you made me laugh today.

All the mess in Bulawayo shipped from Harare

Operarion bvisa vendor muroad results. Its a system. Connected

Ngamashona ledoti yabo from harare

Itai mufushwa wedomasi !

😂😂 makambotengawo here mufushwa wemadomasi muhupenyu hwenyu.

@Mbegabulawe I have seen sun dried tomatoes being sold in some posh supermarkets. Maybe it's an idea that needs to be considered. One can also consider canning. I know this sounds foreign to our people but we need to enter that space.

@MukuvariKaroi I am from Gwanda South area called Manama, my granny used to do it. We have a so much sun that side. It' a nice soup by the way. I was very young back then but I recall how to do it.

Capitalism teaching Zimbabwean one harsh lesson. Never plant a seed without proper planning. From planting, value addiction and marketing. There must be someone canning and drying tomatoes into powder by now. No loss

Zimbabwean farmers need two very important lessons...1) value addition so they minimize loss 2) cleanliness when they go sell their produce in other cities...it shows the allergy they have to cleanliness where they come from that side in Mpumalanga... respect other cities plz.

Aaaah shame, sorry to see that @KingJayZim look at that sad case

THEY CHASED AWAY VENDORS, THE MARKET FORCES ARE AT PLAY

I see a missed business opportunity. Canned tomatoes Sundried tomatoes Tomato paste

Remember between April to July when the entire nation had no tomstoes and those that had were sending to Mozambique? It was inevitable that a sudden influx of tomatoes would hit the local market because of that gap This is the first of many. More tomatoes arikuuya oworera pamsika

True.

There is not strategy from farmers, also industry should innovate to process raw tomato into other products
