This was peak. His voice in this sequence, his mannerism, the way he asked the question where he can find a good Italian restaurant, the confidence.. everything was damn PEAK.. don’t think.. he has gotten another such peak yet… I still watch this film.

Blackhat is another example of Chris Hemsworth’s ability to carry serious films outside of the MCU. Michael Mann’s 2014 cyber-thriller about an imprisoned hacker offered temporary clemency, this film was ahead of its time. Hemsworth is excellent here & is the film’s heart & soul. This is yet another reason why I’m begging Hemsworth to abandon the MCU for good.
