This wasn't called goalie interference. #Canucks

Couple things: 1) Just so we're clear rulebook-wise, the goalie doesn't have to be in the crease for the refs to call goaltender interference. That's just where it gets called most. 2) It's not Demko's job to get out of the way, it's Holloway's to avoid contact (stuck foot out).

Not goalie interference. He turned to face the on coming player. If anything, the goalie would have been called for interference.

Demko set a pick. That’s why it was not called. That being said I am surprised the zebra didn’t make the goaltender interference call 🤷♂️

@ThomasDrance Huge Canucks fan, but great non call. Love demko, but he stretched a bit here to interfere. Nothing wrong with his play - often refs don’t call it, but I think it was correct here

No, bc he stood there and interfered with the player for 3 Seconds before they collided 😂

@ThomasDrance I hate the oilers and that’s not GI. Demko stuck his leg out and was attempting to make contact with Holloway.

Another one of those times would love to hear ref's take on why this wasn't a call.

I can understand it not being goaltender interference cause Demko was way out of his net. But it was a clear trip and/or interference but definitely the most blatant trip since the non-call in Petey in OT

@ThomasDrance Idk looks to me like he plays the puck then tries setting a light pick. Like he plays it then stands there and stares right at Holloway

@NHL is the worst officiated league in pro sports!!!! #Canucks
