Oh Pat, didn’t you get the memo? You can’t touch Russia. They’re off limits to us. Trump made that clear, when he tariffed every country, except Russia and Belarus. I mean, he even levied tariffs against islands solely inhabited by PENGUINS or POLAR BEARS, but not Russia/Belarus!

From Ukraine, I’m watching Iran respond to U.S. strikes on the regime with attacks on our military bases and across the region. My thoughts are with the Iranian people and our troops in harm’s way. Stephen Miller says the president has “plenary authority.” What they really believe is that the president can use the military, including the National Guard, to police our own cities. That’s not just wrong, it’s dangerous. The Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 was created to stop exactly that — it prevents the president from using the military as a domestic police force. Deploying our troops this way drains time and resources, costs taxpayers money, and takes service members away from their families and civilian jobs. Our troops have better things to do than stand around and pick up trash. Using them as a political weapon and targeting our cities for political gain, is unacceptable.
