1) Replit MCP. Steer your agent from anywhere you like to work. ChatGPT, Claude, Slack, or any other MCP client. Create new apps, update the ones you've already built, and pull context from your existing projects, all from your favorite agent. Out of beta and available now. Learn more →

2) Project Analytics. Find out how your app is doing without leaving chat. Traffic, metrics, and experiments, all by asking Agent. Pageviews, unique visitors, and traffic sources are tracked automatically. Ask Agent to instrument what matters for your app: purchase funnels, signup conversion, feature adoption. Then just ask: where are people dropping off? Which source drives the most signups? You get charts and recommendations back, based on real data from your app. On by default for new projects. For existing projects, head over to Publishing → Adjust Settings → Enable Analytics.

3) Database Backups. Your production database already has point-in-time recovery. Now you can add a nightly snapshot on top of that. An extra layer of protection, with retention up to 28 days on Pro and Enterprise, 7 days on Core. Find it under Database → Settings → Advanced → Scheduled Backups. Learn more:

Full Friday Showcase replay. We went deep on Replit MCP with Amadeo Pellicce (@amapel) and Jean-Luc Thumm (@jeanlucthumm) from the Foundry team, the two who built it. What MCP actually is, why we opened Replit up to every other agent, the use cases people found on their own, and where this goes next. Plus Designathon winner Jonathan Abbasi (@dino_digi_llc) on The Dictionary of Invisible Feelings, and how AI is unlocking more creativity. 🎬

MCP out of beta plus analytics in chat is a nice weekly drumbeat. The database backup item is the one that'll save someone at 1am.

Absolutely, these updates make Replit even more powerful and practical for builders.

MCP out of beta plus nightly backups is the grown-up release. Analytics in chat is the one I’d click first

MCP out of beta plus analytics in chat is the combo I wanted last month — I kept alt-tabbing to a separate dash for funnel numbers mid-prompt.

The combination matters more than any one feature: agent control, product analytics and database recovery. That closes the loop from build → observe → experiment → recover. AI-assisted development becomes production-ready when feedback and reversibility are first-class.

The useful shift is that agent access now sits beside production analytics and backups. Building, measuring, and recovering in one loop makes AI features much easier to trust.

The most useful AI stories are the ones that change how work gets organized. Watch for durable process improvements, not just impressive one-off outputs.
