The decision this week by Spain, Ireland and Norway to recognize a Palestinian state is both shameful and dangerous. It rewards the worst attack on Jews since the Holocaust and effectively turns October 7th into Palestinian Independence Day. What a disgrace! My interview with ABC News

Latvia. I held meaningful talks with President Edgars Rinkēvičs. I am grateful to Latvia for the latest military aid package for Ukraine and a clear understanding that the strength of Ukrainian warriors, positions, and future is the strength that secures Latvia’s independence as well. That is why it is so important for us, Latvia, and all of our partners to continue working in the most coordinated, effective way possible, and with maximum effort to defeat Russia. 🇺🇦🇱🇻

Today, we signed a joint statement with Mr. Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez regarding support for 🇺🇦 European and Euro-Atlantic prospects, and this is already the 21st such statement, that is, the majority supported our prospects, in particular in the issue of membership in the Alliance... Belgium, Denmark, our friends from Estonia, Italy, Iceland, Spain, Canada, this is Latvia, this is Lithuania, the Netherlands, Germany, this is Norway and Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Finland, France, the Czech Republic, Montenegro, and Sweden. Thanks to all of you! I am also grateful to those states with which we do not yet have such joint signed statements and declarations, but which absolutely clearly support 🇺🇦 on its way to NATO, and therefore support the approach of real peace throughout Europe. Thank you!

35 years of the legendary "Baltic Way": Millions of people holding hands changed the course of history About two million citizens of #Lithuania, #Latvia and #Estonia, holding hands, formed a living chain more than 600 kilometers long. August 23, 2024 marks the 35th anniversary of one of the most significant actions in the history of the struggle for independence - the "Baltic Way". On this day in 1989, about two million citizens of the three Baltic republics - Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia - held hands, forming a living chain more than 670 kilometers long, with about 2 million people (25% of the population of the three countries at that time), connecting Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn. To understand the significance of the "Baltic Way" it is necessary to recall what became its historical background. On August 23, 1939, the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, a non-aggression agreement between Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union, was signed. Attached to this pact was a secret protocol that divided Eastern Europe into spheres of influence. This deal brought Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia into the Soviet zone, leading to their occupation in 1940 by the USSR. "Baltic Way" was not only a protest against the forced annexation, but also a demand for the restoration of national sovereignty. A year after the "Baltic Way", Lithuania was the first republic to proclaim the restoration of its independence. It was followed by Latvia and Estonia. Today, the Baltic States annually celebrate this day, which remains a symbol of resistance to dictatorship and aspiration for freedom. The action is included in UNESCO's Memory of the World list and continues to inspire new generations.

🇺🇦🇷🇺 Video of ground robotic systems being destroyed by aerial drones. Both Ukrainian and Russian military are increasingly turning the war into a fight between drones. People are gradually fading into the background. Drone on drone violence is something I can comfortably watch without feeling bad about people dying.
