Lord Moore, former Telegraph and Spectator editor, on how AS lobbyists are trying to shift the parliamentary debate: “I know very well what happens—how to recognise when we’re being pushed to do a story. “In the last two weeks all the British media have been pressed very hard, by lobbyists in favour of this bill, to produce a series of highly contentious arguments which attack anybody who tries to debate this bill fully. “I think this is very much at odds with the spirit of legislation of this sort, and also very much at odds with what Lord Falconer keeps trying to do.”

This morning I moved to introduce a Bill to amend the Sex Discrimination Act to return the definition of man and woman to the Act. The Bill was designed to protect women’s sport and women’s spaces but Labor and the Greens wouldn’t allow it to pass into the second reading. Absolutely unbelievable but this issue isn’t going away! This was a great victory this week. House Republicans moved to stop chemical company liability by giving them an immunity shield. The people fought back and the language got stripped. I will continue to lead and fight in The Senate against the corporations and their lobbyists that want to prevent people from having the legal ability to fight the companies that poison us. I don’t take any money from PACs, candidates or lobbyists. I post what I actually believe because I love this country and want to preserve Western civilization. However, a growing number of influencers and podcasters are being paid to push political propaganda. Under current laws, they don’t have to disclose that they’re being paid, often misleading their audiences. This is going to become a bigger issue heading into the midterms and 2028 as dark money groups become more desperate. Democrat strategists are already pouring gobs of cash into this effort, and we need more transparency.
