If there is money for tax breaks, then there should be plenty of money for classrooms. Educators are mobilizing to pass legislation to tax the rich, and fully fund Illinois schools. The veto session is over, and the state of Illinois still owes Illinois school districts nearly $5 Billion in undelivered funds. These are the funds that would ensure our students have the resources they need to thrive, like mental health supports, special education programs, safe passage, and more.
