I’m very disappointed you let them take out the locker room and bathroom part of the bill. Boys shouldn’t be allowed in girl’s private spaces and vice versa.

How many transgender athletes in grades 6-12 in the entire state of Nebraska for the last 10 years does your bill show? FEWER THAN 10 STUDENTS ACCORDING TO THE NEBRASKA SHOOL ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATION. This bill is just political theater masquerading as policy.

I wholeheartedly support the LGBT community, but I have to say that I also agree with Riley Gaines in that trans women competing in women’s sports seems unfair to me and even dangerous. I don’t know what the best solution would be other than creating leagues for trans athletes, but to claim that people who don’t think it’s fair for trans women to compete in women’s sports are “transphobic” is not fair either. One can support the LGBT community BUT also admit that the easiest solutions are not always the best.

The American people deserve full transparency into who was involved in these horrific acts. I believe the victims.
