Rest in Peace Mickey Lee. It was such a joy meeting her a few weeks ago and talking about locs and the potential of meeting up whenever she visited Houston. I’m in shock. Sending prayers and love to her family.

They wrote hits for Whitney Houston. Belinda Carlisle recorded this song but passed. So the duo released it themselves — and it became a hit in ’88. Do you remember it?

"I Will Always Love You" - Whitney Houston (1992 / Live at the 36th Annual Grammy Awards) "And IIII|||||||||||... will always love you..." The Performance That Froze the World When Whitney Houston sang this at the 1994 Grammys, the entire arena went silent before the first chorus even hit. No choreography. No spectacle. Just a voice so precise and powerful it felt unreal.
