This WERWULF trailer looks absolutely brutal. Robert Eggers is taking us back to medieval England for a dark, grimy werewolf tale steeped in folklore, superstition, and pure dread. WERWULF arrives in theaters December 25, 2026. 🐺🩸

I hope it's good. I haven't seen a decent werewolf movie since Dog Soldiers.

A Christmas Day werewolf movie from Eggers. Finally, a holiday tradition with teeth.

All werewolf content is welcome for me but I’m particularly eager to see what Eggers cooks

Robert Eggers is back. That’s your headline. Nothing else really matters right now. A number of big-name directors are about to unleash new releases this year & Eggers is going to be one of the final big names to drop a release when Werwulf comes out on Christmas. If Werwulf is 1/2 as good as Nosferatu, we’re in for a treat.

Robert Eggers is back. He just shared a new still from his upcoming release this December Werwulf, which I posted about an hour ago. I think Eggers is a quintessential filmmaker: he understands and appreciates the importance of the visual. His shots are stunning. They leave an imprint on your memory. 2026 is about to get even better.

Robert Eggers says he set ‘WERWULF’ in 1300s England rather than modern day as he wanted a time period where werewolves being real was treated as fact. “Superstitions in this period don’t exist, magic doesn’t exist, it is. All this is [real to them].”

Robert Eggers needs to be added/remembered/mentioned with all the big name directors dropping new films in 2026. This man has yet to direct a film I haven’t loved. In 2026, Eggers is scheduled to release a new film titled Werwulf. You can bet your sweet ass I’ll be there Day 1.

Steven Spielberg. Denis Villeneuve. David Fincher. Christopher Nolan. Alejandro Iñárritu. Those are just a few big-name directors releasing films in 2026. Now add Robert Eggers to that list, who’s releasing Werwulf on Christmas. When I tell you Cinema is back, just take my word.

Lorris Chevalier confirms that Robert Eggers’ WERWULF is set in 1305. He explains he was asked to find out about a cold moon for a particular character’s vestments and how NASA helped him track down the information. (IG: lorris.chevalier)

The Northman is one of a handful of films that I’ll always remember fondly for ushering me back into theaters after COVID. I saw this in theaters in late April of ‘22, when the world was just getting back on its feet, and it was a great memory. 2026 means new Robert Eggers.

This trailer is WILD. 😮‍💨🔥 #ToxicTrailer has a completely different vibe…… dark, chaotic, stylish and unpredictable. And Yash looks absolutely unhinged in this avatar. What really got me is how much story they’ve packed into those few minutes & still there is clearly a lot more going on beneath all that madness. Yash is back, and he clearly didn’t come back to play safe.

Dolly Parton presented Robert Duvall with the Oscar for Best Actor in 1984. Parton & Duvall have both left us in 2026. Two icons. Two pillars of Hollywood. Two talented artists whose work is utterly timeless. Losing Parton today feels like a punch to the gut. 2026 has been brutal for countless reasons. This is one of them.

TRAILER OF #Bandar IS OUT… And with this film, the audience’s long wait to witness #BobbyDeol in another intense, towering role after #Animal finally comes to an end. The trailer is EXCELLENT… Dark, gritty and hard-hitting, yet backed by a narrative that looks thrilling and thoroughly engaging. The prison sequences, in particular, are absolutely shocking and leave a strong impact. Most importantly, this could well mark the COMEBACK of director #AnuragKashyap… After years, he seems to be back in his zone, delivering the kind of raw and compelling storytelling he is known for. Produced by #NikhilDwivedi. What are your thoughts on the trailer? #BandarTrailer Bobby Deol Nikhil Dwivedi Saffron Magicworks
