I think this is part of the Amazing race TV series. They do not have a choice of which country to travel as they get from checkpoint to checkpoint. But I can understand the sentiment. Traveling in India requires thick skin, strong stomach, resilient mind and overall openness to be patient enough to wait until you can experience the better parts of the nation.

It was from a programme in the UK on BBC where 5 pairs race across the world. Too be fair they did enjoy both countries in the end. Think she was a bit shocked by the noise in India at first.

I was six days in Hong Kong and Macao. Beautiful and expensive places. But the thing is: Locals don't make you feeling welcome. And sometimes they make you feel that they don't like you being there.
