this whole scene till the very end

don went through all the stages of grief in a matter of seconds

the way joan looked at peggy knowing she’d never have to sacrifice herself like she just did breaks my heart every time, but then i’m just so happy for peggy and so proud of her

Apparently Don kissing Peggy's hand was improved by Jon Hamm, and Elisabeth Moss's reaction was genuine.

i know 😭

Dude I was sobbing and the song left me so stunned (in a good way) what a brilliant scene

same

I have no idea how and why the algorithm has decided I’m watching mad men, but I love it.

Season 5 is second best after 4 IMO 😭

season 4 is my favorite but season 5 is the best in my opinion

so experimental and daring, but 4 gave me everything i wanted so i’m partial to it

Extremely valid and on-point take. I think I’d be 100% on board if it weren’t for the Betty arc in season 5 😭 I just skip those parts on rewatches lol, it was handled so poorly

i forgot about that for a minute 😭 but i love the silly plots, they give it that old-school TV show feel

This scene is why to me 'The Other Woman' is the best episode of the whole series only second to maybe 'Shut the Door. Have a Seat' which is one of the 5 best episodes of any show ever for my money. The fact the hand kiss was improvised makes it especially lived in. Great scene.

oomf im on season 7ep13 i dont want it to end im scared

the good thing is that its rewatchability is off the charts!!! you’ll notice so many new things each time

I KNOW! already planning my next rewatch im gonna mesh it in with my six feet under rw

That needle drop at the end sours the whole thing man. ‘This is something you would do’ is beautiful.

Okay, that does it. Time for a complete rewatch.

God this scene is so fucking unbelievable

The best scene from IMO the best episode of arguably the best drama in TV history

It’s kind of a shame that season 6 cancels this scene out though…

It hurts Don because Peggy is the best friend that he has but he can't admit it to himself.

I know this was the 60s, but this was one of the worst hairdos I’ve ever seen and doesn’t compliment her looks whatsoever. I love the show…

Dios TE AMO PEGGY

A+++ acting by both.

The thing about him is, he can never keep a woman.

Brutal. I hate this scene 😭😭😭

There’s no number ????? 😭😭😭😭

Never saw the show but this was quite a scene

the fact that elisabeth never won an emmy for portraying peggy… atrocious

I’d agree ,shame on @TheEmmys

That last look she gives at the elevator before the needle drop… they knew exactly what they were doing

The scene in the office gutted me. Peggy forever!!!

I was so sad but understood but also was emotionally devastated. lol.

La vuelvo a ver cada tanto. Lágrimas en el final.

😭😭that speech!

we don't talk enough about how this is probably the best example of a totally platonic relationship between a man and a woman in the history of television and how the dynamic is hardly ever represented on screen.

thats my family

@grok What series is this? And where did it play at?

Peggy Olson is the audience surrogate of Mad Men. Like Clarice Starling in Silence of the Lambs. Remarkable journey.
