This is why I created a BuyLuck at my job before Covid. We all chipped in and had a catered event each time. Pot lucks should be illegal

It extends to my family too. The only times I’ve thrown up in the last 30 years, twice, were after holiday parties at someone’s house. stick to the prepackaged appetizers or the “lazy” person who stopped on the way and picked up pizza. He knows!

Yep I used to get in the break room while they were setting up so I could see what came from the store and what I need to avoid. So as they was done I made my move before others came in with their unwashed hands and touched anything.

I just hand this same conversation with a coworker yesterday when they started talking about holiday parties at work. Y’all don’t even wash your hands after using the bathroom. Nope, no mam, I will NOT participate in the pot luck!!!!!
