Magic the Gathering did two Secret Lair drops on Monty Pythons holy grail. The cards were based on iconic scenes, and of course one card was the bridge of death, which requires you to pay 2 of each color for its ability.

Back when you could actually have time to set up a joke. Not like the Modern Age where the punchline has to go in the very beginning otherwise people won't watch till the end of the video

This movie has me laughing from the opening credits until the end. My favorite comedy next to Young Frankenstein.

I miss the Pythons. Nothing else like them since.

Every moment of that movie is an utter masterpiece.

One of the first bits in the whole movie and it had a legendary payoff near the end, absolutely amazing

In the original script, the bridge keeper appears on the boat, saying “who would cross the Sea of Fate must answer me these questions twenty-eight”, at which point they throw him into the water. Sadly it was cut, probably because it spoiled the drama.

Love this movie, I watch it at least once a month.
