This is monumental. Imagine being able to get raytraced-like lighting at a fraction of the cost. You can free up so much of the GPU frame time and create even more complex scenes because you're not having to compute a dynamic light, shadows and global illumination.

look at the dull modern lighting, the shade dosn't stack, its all just one shade but with this you can have actual dark spots and a variety of shades to makes the lighting really come to life iam just pissed i can't afford it, like everyone else.
