Here's our timelapse of the supercell and shelf cloud moving into Dallas in Gaston County on Wednesday. There were two separate EF-1 tornadoes embedded inside the downburst. What you see in this video is the shelf clouds and leading edge of the downburst with 70-80 mph winds. This was taken at 1450' off the ground. #cltwx #ncwx #wcnc #gastonia #belmont #dallas #mtholly

Rian chances go up on Sunday. Scattered rain & storms will be on and off through the day... Not 100% coverage all day. There will be dry hours. Rain chances climb more late Sunday through Monday morning as a cold front comes in. Heavy rain & gusty winds with some of the storms.

A powerful cold front is poised to bring dangerous storms to the DMV on Monday afternoon and evening. A few storms could develop earlier in the day and may become severe quickly.

It's Thursday on Weather Channel Live and we're breaking down the forecast for severe storms this afternoon and evening. Damaging wings, large hail and isolated tornadoes all possible as a strong cold front moves through. Much colder air moving in behind the front.

Just incredible scenes in North Myrtle Beach. Love it or hate it, take a moment to appreciate what is happening. Between the incredible snowfall totals many will wake up to, and the extreme cold, this storm will join the ranks of legends like the 1989 storm. #SCwx #NCwx WMBF News

Much milder air will move in on Thursday in a southerly wind🌡️ Temperatures could climb into the high teens across parts of central and eastern England However, with the possibility of Saharan dust and high level cloud moving in, this could limit the temperature rise 👇

A cold front will slowly move through the area today and tonight. Isolated storms will be possible late afternoon/evening from DFW to the northeast. Coverage will be low as storms will struggle to develop. An isolated storm could be strong, but most stay rain-free. #wfaaweather

Rain will clear the southeast this evening, leaving clear skies for many 🌜 There will still be some showers, a few heavy and turning wintry over high ground, particularly in northern areas ☔ Turning cold with a patchy frost developing overnight 🥶

Here is a simulated radar loop to get a better idea of timing of storms and strong outflow winds this evening. Look for winds to increase by 7-8 pm in the Phoenix Metro. Gusty winds up to 30-35 mph will be possible along with blowing dust (locally dense). #azwx

8/8//26 2:40pm - Good afternoon, everyone. A few pop-up storms have started showing up on radar. Most of you will remain rain-free today. Only a few of you will find yourselves under a brief period of heavy rain and gusty winds this afternoon.

Wednesday morning swim and temperature of the water is still not more then 5° and really cold after a few minutes. After getting out and wrapping a towel around yourself is already feeling as relief! Shorts out and tracksuit on then you feel really blessed that you can spend these moments for yourself. #openwaterswim

A cold front is bringing rain across Northern Ireland and Scotland with some heavier downpours reaching southern Scotland later☔️ The cloud in the west will also be thick enough for a few spots of rain or drizzle 🌧️
