I understand the argument but you shouldn't ever be logging into systems you don't own. If they see multiple accounts using the same IP and hardware ID and one of them cheated they will go after the whole lot due to it appearing like ban evasion.

It’s not really about same ip or hardware, if an account got banned using a licensed dlc everyone who used that licensed dlc got banned. And using a licensed dlc to share isn’t necessarily tos if the platform allows that. If bungie didn’t want this feature to be used they could have denied people from access to the DLCs without ever banning anyone. Studios like embark does this. Bungie doesn’t have a system that gets you a week ban, month or even year, if you get flagged of ANYTHING it’s permanent. No other people have ever needed to access your account so them stating “ban evading, boosting, recoveries and cheating” is a simple lie. It’s simply them banning the license to the DLCs and instead of removing access to the license and instead just banned everyone associated with it. it’s a flawed system that targets anyone who does this. It’s a different story if this has always been the case but them rolling out this a few days ago when a bunch of steam players waiting for an official fix to the performance issues use a shared license which could have been flagged at any point without them knowing, they get banned without any explanation or reason. Just for bungie to state that the people affected are doing what I stated they said earlier.

I was affected by the Steam issue and purchased the DLC collection for around $25 on Epic to get around it. With the D2SteamFix solution that disables Steam's overlay DLLs the issue with Steam is mostly fixed but Epic version still runs better in my testing.

I was false banned over a year ago for what I can only allege from either not closing mods for a different before launching d2 or finding out that I was playing with cheaters at the time, I’ve tagged them so many times and submitted so many appeals and got NOTHING.

Youre an idiot, you're breaking Microsoft ToS by doing this. This is meant for allowing you to have all your data on 10 devices max and its supposed to be local/family not random people online. So you just admitted to breaking Microsoft ToS to get the DLC. So anything that happens to your account after that is YOUR fault because you broke ToS.
