"My definition of failure became not about the outcome, but about not trying." A few years ago on a podcast with Tony Robbins, Sara Blakely told the story of her father's nightly routine. As his children returned from school, he would ask Sara & her brother one question: "So what did you guys fail at this week?" As Sara tells it, her father would be disappointed not if they failed, but if they didn't. For her, "it flipped the whole model on its head." Her father was changing her definition of failure. Instead of a negative, failure "became not about the outcome, but about not trying." Another thing her father did (which I love) is ask his children "what benefit or what positive" came from their failures. In Blakely's words, this "trained our brains also to find that––and then it became, of course, I want to try these things." In short, the focus shifted from the outcome to what she could learn through the process. My thoughts: When I was younger I would always hear people say "to enjoy the process" but to be honest, it never really resonated until later on in life. As you age you begin to realize that the outcome, while still important, often turns out to be different than what you expected it would be. Maturity is knowing this at the outset. Things will change, pieces will break, and the path will be far from straight. Appreciating the experiences, relationships, and errors along the way is where real growth occurs. Each of these shapes the person you become. The Stoic philosopher Seneca once said: "A gem cannot be polished without friction, nor a man perfected without trials." To avoid failure is to avoid progress. Change your definition of failure. Flip the model on its head. Thanks for reading. If you enjoyed this, follow me: Blake Burge for more.

After 15 years of DJing, I’m deciding to retire. This journey has been a beautiful one, with incredible moments of ecstasy throughout. This rose is not without its thorns, however. The lifestyle of late nights and early mornings took a toll on my mental health, spurring me to seek therapy, personal development, and ultimately spiritual growth. These changes have uncovered deeper desires for my life. I want to live a life more intimately connected with myself, others, and the world around me. I want to help people unfold into their fullest potential. I want to work on projects that support the flourishing of humanity for generations to come. This doesn’t mean that I’m walking away from music altogether. In fact, quite the opposite. Music has always been a crucial ingredient to my life, and I will continue making it for both myself and others. My relationship to it is just changing; no longer am I trying to keep up with trends and make music solely to get popular. I’m treating each song like a diary entry, telling the story of my journey track by track. The next song I will be releasing is coming May 31st, and is called “Fallin’”. It’s the first of 12 original tracks that I’ve sung on, written, and produced that will be combined into an album called “Love Letters” later this year. I hope these tracks connect to my listeners’ hearts – they are sourced straight from mine. You can listen to Fallin’ at Enjoy

When Immovable object met an Irresistible force... On This Day; In 1998 at Trent Bridge, during the fourth Test between England & South Africa, cricket fans witnessed an unforgettable duel that has since become the stuff of legends... England, trailing 1-0 in the series, faced a crucial moment on the fourth evening of the match... In Allan Donald's third over, he unleashed a ferocious delivery aimed straight at Mike Atherton's throat. Atherton, trying to fend off the ball, was struck on the hand, causing it to balloon into the air... Umpire Steve Dunne, however, did not declare him out... Donald, stunned & angry, warned Atherton: "You better be f****** ready for what's coming because there'll be nothing in your half." What followed was 40 minutes of some of the most intense cricket ever seen... Donald bowled with unmatched ferocity, hurling bouncers at both Nasser Hussain & Atherton, who valiantly stood their ground despite being repeatedly struck... The tension reached its zenith when Hussain edged a delivery from Donald, only for the catch to be dropped by Mark Boucher. Donald, unable to contain his frustration, screamed in disbelief... This dramatic encounter proved pivotal, as England went on to win this Test & a thrilling final Test at Headingley by 23 runs, clinching this series by 2-1(After beind down & out in the 1st two Tests) Despite the fierce competition on the field, a moment of camaraderie emerged afterward. Donald & Atherton shared a beer, laughing about the umpire's controversial decision... Donald remarked, "He knew he'd gloved it, and we had a laugh about the fallibility of umpires. He said, 'What would you have done?' and I said I wouldn't have walked either." In a gesture of sportsmanship, Atherton signed the glove he used during that fiery exchange & gave it to Donald, a memento of a remarkable battle & mutual respect between two cricketing greats... To this day, this Test series remains my most favorite Test series...

Woke up today on the 12th of this month and I figured it’s time to move on from Superman! Im no super human… I cry ! I struggle! I feel like everyone else. Through the lies, the media and the hate I still show love and Smile Through The Storm. But now Im taking off the cape and retiring from all basketball to pour into my family and give back to communities worldwide. I know some of you might think I thought he already “retired” but I didn’t… the game retired me! I still had more left to give ! Yeah I did play professionally for 20 years and Im grateful to be able to say that but I can’t lie seeing these other players still going at it at age 40 inspired me to want to keep trying but now I believe my duty will be to pass it down to the next generation . So Thank you to all my fans and supporters throughout this journey I love and appreciate yall dearly because without yall it would be no me! Also thank you to the Naysayers, the haters, the snakes, and people that came into my life to try to destroy me. Because everytime yall did …it only made me stronger. When my documentary releases this year the world will know the truth about EVERYTHING! Then you will see how the sheltered little boy from college park Georgia who went to the same school from pre-k to 12th grade then straight to the NBA was taken advantage of by the world. But through it all still managed to keep SMILING 🙏🏾😁 & Since I didn’t get a chance to ever have a farewell tour I decided to create a tour not for fans to appreciate me but for me to appreciate them for supporting me all these years and giving me a reason to smile doing what I love Every 12th of the month from now on will be D12 day where I visit cities all over the world and do acts of kindness for random to people to give them a reason to Smile 😊 Let me know where yall want to see me give back ⬇️ Production 🎥🔥: Kevin von Puttkammer @quowavy @mu_reaaal #nba #basketball #retirement

Will Lavine: ...because one person. Dr. Tara: Were you not tired? Will Lavine: No, I wanted to keep going and she wanted to f*ck. (Laughter and sigh) Dr. Tara: Okay. You literally are an award-winning p*ssy eater. Give us the tips. Like, not... not me personally, but the men out there. I have a lot of men watching and listening to my show. So, and a lot of them, I'm sure, uh... can... can improve. Will Lavine: I've... I've been told. Dr. Tara: Or... or they're young and they don't know what to do and they're not super confident in giving head to... to women. Um, can you give them three, let's say three tips for pussy eating? From an award-winning pussy eater. Will Lavine: The... the very first thing is patience. Guys, stop trying to rush this because you want to get your dick sucked. It needs to not be a chore. The reason I believe I am good at it is because I fucking love it. Like, I love it. I am orally fixated. Like, you... there's nothing you can tell me that would make me stop eating p*ssy. And the thing is, what I find when I speak to some women is that guys are just... they... meh, two seconds, and then they're like, "Now you do me." Take your time. And it's all about foreplay. Tease the erogenous zones behind the ear, behind the knee cap, armpits, like everything and just make it an experience. And then the waterworks start, and then go down and do it like you really want to fucking do it. Don't do it because you're like, "Ah, you know, I'm doing it because she wants it." Learn to love it. Because I tell you something, if you get it right, you will get anything and everything that you want, right? So, patience is one thing. I think another thing is... don't get deterred if the person isn't coming straight away, right? Every woman is different. Every woman's vagina is different. Dr. Tara: It can still be pleasurable when we're not coming. Will Lavine: Exactly! Well, that's one of the other points it's a journey. It shouldn't just be, like, the end goal, right? Just enjoy the actual journey aspect. But I would say, so if it's not happening straight away, try things, right? Try using your fingers. And maybe even just do some Googling. Like, most men know about the G-spot, but they don't know about the A-spot, right? The A-spot is a... is a, like, a game-changer. And like, maybe go side-to-side as opposed to front-to-back. On the clit, go left-to-right, go around. You don't always have to go straight for the clit. Try licking the hood. Try maybe using your teeth, but not hard like a brush. Come back every so often and admire the pussy that you're looking at. Blow on it. Like, there's all these little things, but... Dr. Tara: Blow on it! Will Lavine: Every... every woman reacts differently to different things. Listen to your partner.

🐱: Right now, I'm getting a lot of messages from people around me and also getting scolded quite a bit. About that moment when I put my hand inside my pants, I wanted to apologize and clarify things to MIDZY. 🐱: Let me sit up straight and be serious for a second 🐱: First of all, that jumpsuit was riding up way too high, and it was genuinely so uncomfortable and painful. I wasn't thinking straight at the moment, I just really needed to pull it down. But looking back at the footage myself, I agree it definitely looked like my hand went in a bit too deep. 🐱: I think I’ve gotten so comfortable around midzy lately that I completely let my guard down on stage and acted without thinking. I am so deeply sorry for that. 🐱: But seriously, it was absolutely the jumpsuit's fault! It was literally trying to split me in half, so I had no choice! Still, I know it was wrong of me to reach into my pants in public, especially on stage. That was my mistake. 🐱: Because of this, my friend made me promise to do some serious self-reflection and repeat this three times: I will never reach into my pants in public, especially on stage, ever again. 🐱: So yeah, that’s where I stand. I’m honestly so disappointed in myself for letting everyone who loves and supports me see me doing something like that. 🐱: But seriously... it really *was* the jumpsuit's fault! 😭 ...Okay, okay, but it was still my bad at the end of the day. 🐱: Next time I have to wear a jumpsuit, I’ll just bring a pair of scissors on stage with me. Just kidding… 🐱: Anyway, that’s the whole story and I just wanted to clarify things with you all.

Charlie Foltz was abducted by a UFO in the middle of the wilderness. And he came face to face with Grey aliens. They had a “bulbous head with large eyes.” “No nose.” “No mouth.” “When I looked into these eyes, it was like two magnets grabbing one another instantly … ” Charlie and three of his friends had a UFO encounter in the Allagash Wilderness in 1976. After undergoing hypnotic regression, they remembered shocking details of their encounter with Grey aliens. He and Jim Weiner just sat down with Jesse Michels to share their remarkable story: Foltz: “The first thing I remember in my regression was looking at my toes and thinking … what the hell happened to my socks?” “And then … where the hell are my clothes?” “Then, where the hell am I?” “Just beyond my toes, I can see Jack and Jim and this other guy sitting on this bench.” “I look up and I see this face bending down to look into my eyes.” Michels: “You were laying horizontally?” Foltz: “On a table, yeah.” “It felt chilly, very sterile, very much like an emergency room setting.” “I recall this panel coming down from somewhere above my head, and it was over my chest, and it basically covered my entire torso.” “And then this blue light came straight down out of it, and it had a definite dimensional quality to it.” “It isn’s like taking your flashlight … and you shine it and the light spreads and travels.” “This was focused and it was localized into one shape, and that was emitted straight down onto my torso.” “There were two beings to my left.” “I had this one at my head and another at my feet, and they began a clinical examination of me, for lack of another term.” Michels: “What did the beings look like?” Foltz: “A bulbous head with large eyes.” “No nose like us, and no mouth like us.” “It was sort of like a slight slit area in the chin.” “No ears like we have protruding. They were like … a slight bump out from the skull.” “I was told not to resist, not to fight, I wasn’t in any danger, just comply and everything will be all right.” Michels: “Were you told telepathically?” Foltz: “Yeah.” “You’ve had the experience of being on a rollercoaster when it drops and your stomach stays up around your shoulders.” “I had a physical sensation like that, but it wasn’t my stomach. It was my mind.” Michels: “Were they gray in color?” Foltz: “Yes.” Michels: “Do you remember how tall?” Foltz: “Under five feet, spindly.” “Their hands had four digits, not five or three … that hang straight down.” “And the center of the hand had like an articulation ability, so they would have four opposable digits.” “They had a clothing on that was, for lack of a better word, like a spandex type of appearance where it tightly conformed to their body.” American Alchemy Jesse Michels

I've been seeing a lot of talk about how CM 15 is "The worst CM to date" and really just general negativity around the state of this CM. I wanted to give my perspective as someone who has felt this is most fun CM in recent memory, using what people would generally consider one of the worst strategies. I know this won't apply to everyone and RNG factors in a lot, but I still think it's good to have the discussion. I started this CM originally with my usual plan on a Medium track around Late OG Nice Nature and double dom debuffers. The plan was to C4 velo bomb with unique and shadow break, using Dober, Red-Shift and Nimble to accel. I used my usual setup Front/Pace/Late, to give Natie the best opportunity to hit Nimble and overtake. While doing practice rooms, I found 2 things. 1) Natie was unable to get into position a lot of the time due to high front lobby composition. 2) When putting my Debuffers at end instead, Natie would have no one to overtake. Now don't get me wrong, she won sometimes but it was clear that every variation I was trying would not be able to catch up with a front or XOguri. So that left me with a problem. How do I close that 3-4 length gap? After talking with some of my knowledgeable friends, there was one mechanic I had mostly written off due to the environment. Dueling. I've always been an avid enjoyer and user of Dueling but really underestimated its power here. The clip on this post shows just how insane Dueling can be on this CM. It's more powerful than double dom for backliners. Now how you force duel to work in your favor? The best answer, a second ace. I know for a lot of solo ace players this is a non-starter, but I feel for this CM as a backliner, Dueling is the best weapon we have to win. And having a second ace drastically increases your chances to duel with each other, giving you the power you need to catch up. The second piece to the puzzle was going back to my CM7 roots and stacking final straight velocity. Normally you have to stack a lot of mid game to keep up with the pack to stay in position, but I felt that saccing a small bit of it for more late game velocity had more value. There's also probably my favorite skill this CM, It's On. This skill along with good pace up from high Wit really handled a lot of my issues. Keeping a front debuffer that would fall back in the mid game gave me almost a full guaranteed proc of It's On every race. These changes to my team saw so much success in practice lobbies, it was pretty insane to see. I was able to win almost every variation of lobby composition that is common this CM. The only one that would always be the toughest is a full front lobby. Most of my races here would be losses as both Natie and Muteki would not be able to get into a good position to hit Dober/Red-Shift. I will say I have been extremely lucky in my lobby rolls this CM to have very few of them. I've also had a few wins even in those high front lobbies despite the odds being against me. Being able to solve this puzzle to best of my ability was very fun and to see the results has been awesome. My main takeaway would be is, if you have another Oshi outside of your main one that you've always wanted to race but didn't because you were doing solo oshi, give duo oshi a shot. You might find something new that you really enjoy. It's really awesome to watch both of my favorite umas win races😊

SHE'S DONE!!! Mario Kart 64 for the Sega Dreamcast is officially ready for public consumption, so here's a full 6+ minute video of gameplay, captured straight from my actual DC! Jnmartin has done it again! The footage you are watching shows every GP course in the game, including multiplayer footage as well. Yes, you can also save and load ghost files from the VMU! As this is our first release, I'm sure you will run into a minor bug here or there, especially given neither one of us could stress test 4 player very effectively using our hands and feet to drive... So be sure to open tickets for any minor issues you find... assuming you're playing on REAL HARDWARE. I can already tell you right now, emulators are having issues with this one! This was my first time getting to directly contribute to a jnmartin N64 port, and it was an absolute honor for me to be involved with his incredible work. There is nobody else who I have ever met with the cross-architecture knowledge of BOTH the Sega Dreamcast and Nintendo 64, combined with the raw grit, tenacity, and attention to detail required to pull this off and do the source material justice. Not only did I get to take my SH4ZAM library for DC math gainz out for a ride with MK64, but I also brought some new routines back from MK64 so everyone can use them! Finally, I got to be involved in laying the foundation for future jnmartin N64 ports, now that we have an optimized, accelerated audio and video back-end for various libultra functionality, including Fast3D. You can already see how much this has benefited future work based on how quickly jnmartin was able to get StarFox 64 up and running on DC... The man doesn't sleep, no. lol. I just wanted to thank everyone so much for the continued enthusiasm and support behind these ports. The support for our work and the Sega Dreamcast means the world to us! Thanks for helping to keep the dream alive! For instructions on how to build yourself a burnable CDI image or a DreamShell ISO for either your DC's SD card or IDE drive, please follow the README on the repository: NOTE: Windows users will need DreamSDK to build. My last-minute build fixes for DreamSDK are in this WIP branch here, which will probably be merged into the main branch tomorrow when jnmartin wakes up:

🚫𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆: 𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐒𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐘 𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐓 𝐀𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐃🚫 Hi Everyone I said I would post after debut but turns out I needed some extra time to recover (more tired than I thought) but now it's 2 days later so here we go… I wanted to start by saying THANK YOU ALL!❤️ The support and love I’ve gotten from everyone, creators and viewers alike, has honestly been nothing short of mind-blowing and exceeds anything I could have ever dreamed of. There have been creators that I've looked up to for years, that have reached out in some way or another, and that experience is enough to make me want to curl up into a ball and violently cry😭 I first started making videos around 2 years ago just for fun, and started streaming around 1.5 years ago, and to get this far has exceeded my whilst dreams. (For context I thought 1k subs in 5 years would have been INSANE) My whole life I've been on the straight and narrow, keeping things pretty safe… It was just how I was raised. But late last year, I did a lot of reflecting on what I really wanted to do in life, and what made me the happiest. This year I'm taking perhaps my first and biggest risk, and trying to do content full time. It's been rocky, chaotic and exhausting but I'm finally doing something I'm passionate about. And it's all thanks to you, thank you so much❤️ Everyone's kind words and support has been overwhelming, and the fact that it's enabled me to at least try full time content is extremely humbling and you have all made me the happiest mafia bull man alive. Thank you to the people who supported me along my journey, my friends, my mods, my community and my personal managers/editors. I would be nothing without you, so thank you for your undying support and belief in me. Thank you to the people who I worked with specifically for this debut, pouring your heart and soul into it to help bring everything to life, and bearing with me and my tweaks as we went! Thank you to the viewers, whether you are new, here from the start, or joined and left, from the smallest interaction to always being there, thank you! Thank you to the new friends I’ve met along the way as well, I will cherish these memories forever (Why does it sound like I'm dying💀… LETS MAKE PLENTY MORE) From the bottom of my heart❤️I love you all, Vain

Vain 🐂💜
