The closure of Torkham alone inflicted $45 million losses on Afghanistan within one month, and in just a few weeks, Afghanistan’s cumulative losses exceeded $200 million. Over 5,000 trucks were stranded, Afghan agricultural produce spoiled, and transport costs via Iran rose 50–60%, with an additional $2,500 per container. Even the medical supply chain suffered, as over 50% of Afghanistan’s medicines transit through Pakistan. Alternative routes are slow, expensive, and insecure, and Afghanistan’s fragile economy cannot sustain these burdens. As smuggling stopped, more than 200,000 families tied to smuggling networks, backflow routes, and under-invoicing lost their source of income. Impact on Pakistan The trade suspension has almost no effect on the daily life of an average Pakistani, because the items entering Pakistan through smuggling were luxury goods, not essential commodities. Pakistan, on the other hand, has robust alternatives, including CPEC routes and direct land connectivity with China, ensuring continuity of legitimate trade. By blocking illicit routes, Pakistan is dismantling smuggling networks, curbing arms and narcotics trafficking, and reducing the movement of terror operatives. Regional Rebalancing & Long-Term Gains The closure will push Afghanistan’s trade—previously concentrated in eastern provinces like Paktia—toward alternative corridors such as Iran and Central Asia, promoting diversification and economic inclusivity within Afghanistan. In the long term—5 to 10 years—Pakistan will benefit from a cleaner, regulated, and more secure regional trade architecture. The Road Ahead The Afghan Taliban must now choose: Will they continue sheltering terrorists, or join Pakistan in a cooperative path toward regional stability and shared economic progress? In this regard, NLC trucks carrying medicines reached Bishkek. On their return journey, the trucks will carry consignments of various other products from Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan. In today’s session, presided by me on Pakistan’s behalf, the UN Security Council unanimously adopted Pakistan-sponsored Resolution 2788, on “Strengthening Mechanisms for the Peaceful Settlement of Disputes.” The resolution urges greater use of UN Charter Chapter VI tools including negotiation, enquiry, mediation, conciliation, arbitration, judicial settlement, and resort to regional and sub-regional organizations, as well as good offices of the Secretary General, and calls for inclusive diplomacy. This is a concrete step toward restoring the Council’s central role in conflict prevention and peaceful settlement of disputes. It resolution, inter alia, calls on Member States to take necessary measures for the effective implementation of Security Council resolutions on peaceful dispute settlement. Pakistan remains fully committed to advancing these principles through dialogue, international law, and multilateral cooperation. This resolution is an important contribution of Pakistan for the promotion and maintenance of international peace and security, and to the work of the UN Security Council.

Islamabad: JUI Chief Maulana Fazl ur Rehman attended the 3rd Joint Consultative Meeting (JCM) of Political Parties of Pakistan and China on #CPEC, held today in Islamabad. The event was co-chaired by the Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan and Mr. Liu Jianchao, Minister of International Department of the Communist Party of China. Maulana Fazl ur Rehman: There is a consensus in Pakistan regarding Pak-China relations. Pak-China friendship has always transcended our political differences. Pakistan attaches importance to peaceful co-existence and cooperative relations in the region and supports progress towards it. Pakistan believes in peaceful and equitable resolution of disputes. We are grateful that China has always supported Pakistan unconditionally on the Kashmir issue and Pakistan has also always supported China unconditionally on the Taiwan issue. Pak-China relations, which were mentioned by the speakers before me, is a shared vision of all of us and I am proud that JUI Pakistan and CPEC are friends and we want to make this friendship meaningful and see it beneficial for the people of both countries. The credit for the progress made in this regard also goes to the Parliament of Pakistan and the CPC when in 1995 the CPC (China) invited the Foreign Committee of the National Assembly of Pakistan and briefed us on the new economic vision. Then on behalf of Pakistan, we presented Pakistan's "Trade Via Pakistan" concept. And for seven days, we discussed this topic in every meeting continuously, and after seven days, the CPEC informed our delegation that they supported the proposal. I regret that by today it should have been completed, but some obstacles have definitely come in the middle, which are a matter of concern for us as well as for you, but China-Pakistan's commitment to CPEC is strong. With this commitment, we also have to complete all the suspended projects and Insha-Allah we have to lay the foundations of cooperation with each other in different fields, take them forward and China & Pakistan will prove to be the top priority in each other's friendship and relations all over the world and no obstacle will be allowed in it. I warmly welcome you and your entire delegation. This conversation will further strengthen the relations between the two countries. Thank you very much

🚨🚨🚨#ISPR Rawalpindi, 12 Oct 2025 On the night of 11/12 Oct 2025, Afghan Taliban and Indian-sponsored Fitna al Khawarij launched an unprovoked attack on #Pakistan, along Pak -#Afghanistan border. The cowardly action, which included fire and few physical raids, was aimed at destabilising the border areas to facilitate terrorism, furthering FAK's nefarious designs. Exercising the right of self-defence, the alert Armed Forces of Pakistan repelled the assault decisively all along the border and inflicted heavy casualties on Taliban Forces and affiliated Khwarjis. Precision fires and strikes, as well as physical raids were directed against Taliban camps and posts, terrorist training facilities and support networks operating from Afghan territory, including elements linked to Fitna al Khwarij (FAK), Fitna al Hindustan (FAH) and ISKP/ Daesh. All possible measures were taken to avoid collateral damage and to protect civilian lives. As a result of these unrelenting operations, multiple Taliban locations were destroyed all along the border; twenty-one (21) hostile positions on the Afghan side of border were also briefly physically captured and multiple terrorist training camps, used to plan and facilitate attacks against Pakistan, were rendered inoperative. During overnight skirmishes, twenty-three (23) brave sons of Pakistan embraced shahadat while defending territorial integrity of our beloved country against this outrageous action while twenty-nine (29) soldiers are injured. According to credible intelligence estimates and damage assessment, more than two-hundred (200) Taliban and affiliated terrorists have been neutralized while the number of injured is much higher. The infra-structural damages to Taliban posts, camps, Headquarters and support networks of terrorists are extensive, all along the border and range from tactical to operational depth. The Armed Forces of Pakistan remain ever ready to protect the territorial integrity, life and property of the people of Pakistan. Our resolve to defend Pakistan's territorial integrity and to defeat those who threaten our security is unwavering. While the people of Pakistan prefer constructive diplomacy and dialogue over violence and belligerence, we will not tolerate the treacherous use of Afghan soil for terrorism against Pakistan. We have noted with concern that this serious provocation has occurred during the visit of Taliban Foreign Minister to India - the biggest sponsor of terrorism in the region. In the interest of regional peace and security, we call upon the Taliban Government to take immediate and verifiable actions to neutralize the terrorist groups, inter alia, FAK, FAH and ISKP/ Daesh operating from their territory. Otherwise, Pakistan will continue to exercise its right to defend its people by persistent neutralization of terror targets. The Taliban Government should shun any ill-begotten notions and prioritize well being, peace, prosperity and development of Afghan people over irresponsible sabre-rattling. Last night's episode vindicates Pakistan's long-standing position that the Taliban Government is actively facilitating the terrorists. If the Taliban Government continues to sponsor terrorist outfits, in cohorts with India, for shortsighted objective of destabilizing the region, the people and the state of Pakistan will not rest until the menace of terrorism emanating from Afghanistan is completely eliminated.

He argued that merely allowing Islamic practices does not make a country Islamic; only an Islamic system—not a republican one—can do so. In an implicit critique of the Taliban leadership, he argued that if someone rejects the obligation of jihad against Pakistan today, then they should also have rejected the obligation of jihad against the former Republic government in Kabul. "We are not fighting the Pakistani people, nor are we waging a national war. Our fight is against the Republic, which we consider to be infidelity. By fighting the Republic, we believe we are doing good for you and working to free you from it, and the Mujahideen will achieve this through their sacrifices." He expressed gratitude to the Pakistani public for hosting Afghan refugees over the past five decades. Ghaznavi also claimed that the world, including America, Europe, and Pakistan, should be grateful to Afghans for “saving them from the threat of communism” by defeating the Soviet Union.

Clearest statement on #OperationSindoor conveyed to US President Donald Trump by PM Modi in their phone conversation. 1)No mention ever made of US-India trade deal at any level during the operation 2)no mention ever made of America mediating between India and Pakistan 3)talks to stop military operations were done directly between India and Pakistan through existing channels between the 2 Armies 4)these talks were held *at the request of Pakistan* 5)PM reiterated forcefully in his telephonic conversation with Trump: *India doesn’t accept mediation, never has, never will*. There is political unanimity on this within India Trump heard this in detail, and expressed support for India’s fight against terrorism

🚨 CHILD SMUGGLING!! Shocking Footage! Human smugglers expose their own smuggling routes through their promotional videos. A handler and 3 children smuggled in to the United States in less than 2 minutes, from the Rio Grande immediately on to the road. Until we occupy the territory (border) with boots on the ground, no sensors, no camera, no drones, no wall will be effective unless we have the man power to man it. We must occupy the southern border to repel this. Why do our politicians dish out endless cash to protect foreign nations but not for our own. Mini caravans and pockets of illegal aliens have been quietly moving north through the country of Mexico. Mobilized and empowered by NGOs. I have compiled a list of the NGOs doing this, which surprisingly as well have been active in the Spain area as well. More on that later. Please share this with as many people as possible, it’s time we get serious about border security. We have less than 2 years left. Children are openly being smuggled at broad daylight. What are we doing? We have the White House, Senate and Congress, there’s no excuse for this.

NLC successfully transports cargo shipment to Kyrgyzstan 🇰🇬 🇵🇰 In pursuit of its commitment to enhance regional connectivity, National Logistics Corporation (NLC) achieved another significant milestone by transporting first export cargo from Pakistan to Kyrgyzstan via China under UN mandated Transport Internationaux Routier (TIR) system. In this regard, NLC trucks carrying medicines reached Bishkek. On its return journey, the trucks would carry consignment of different other products from Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan. Ya'all rememeber Shahzaib murder case???? What happened in the end? Shahrukh jatoi got released and will be campaigning for elections. Mockery of the justice system. His brother got married to Sanam baloch (the actress) they lived happily ever after here. While Shahzaib's dad died of grief and his family who included females only were threatened and later given money enough for them to leave the country for good. Since they had no hope in the courts anymore. This is Pakistan! 🥲💔 i have very little hope in Mir Raza's case!
