Mines Minister Polite Kambamura says Government plans incentives to attract coal investment and will withdraw licences from companies that delay developing their mining assets. Earlier this year, Government cancelled RioZim Energy’s licence over the Sengwa coal deposit, citing lack of development. I've interacted with the Minister of Finance of South Africa, Hon. Enoch Godongwana, both on and off camera. He has a very sober mind. He expressed gratitude to Zimbabwe for the warm reception he received since he stepped foot on this sacred soil. He appreciated our Minister of Finance, Economic Development and Investment Promotion, Hon. Prof. Mthuli Ncube, and the people of Zimbabwe for their cordiality. He says the region should scale up trade and be able to stand as a collective. No dudula, no vengeful retribution. Zimbabweans are peace-loving and development-oriented.
