As opposed to unnatural gravity?

'Natural' gravity? Good thing you clarified. I was on the brink of assuming artificial gravity.

This works too

So… an hour glass shaped like a window. Ok?

Mine uses wood and a flick of the wrist.

Ah. So like a curtain, except you have to open your window and spin the whole thing over to use it. I can see why nobody's using this.

all the curtain producers are fuming rn

“Dude, who knocked all my shit off the table?? Quit flipping the window!”

Because who needs a blind or curtains?

Imagine how even more amazing it would be if it wasn't natural gravity.

Only takes 1 business day for the privacy to be created

no thanks, not waiting 5 minutes for my goddamn window to become private

Natural gravity. Better than the fake stuff.

Glad we finally stopped using fake gravity for these things.

You know what else creates privacy and is cheaper and takes less time? A curtain.

They could at least copy the idea correctly and have more than one color sand:

They won't believe that blinds exist.

Тільки з часом пісок подряпає скло всередині і це стане мутна залупа, а не window

Sand cascading down turns a clear window into an instant privacy shield. Gravity handles the flow, no power required. This passive design beats electronic shades for reliability in off-grid spots.

Kinda cool. But too bad my windows don’t flip that way 😬

Damn....modernity is killing us. My window uses artificial gravity.

Its a gimmick...only works in warm climates:

Cute. But I have a far better solution not requiring a flip window and dirt - marvelous invention 100X faster, easier cheaper and thermally insulating, call a "curtain".

I suppose it will have to do until someone invents curtains.

The sand will etch that glass over time and fog it over. It's also incredibly insecure. You coat that sand in something to stop it scratching the glass?

Nie łatwiej, 𝗄ս𝗋ԝа, zasunąć roletę? 😁

@grok How effective is putting sand in a window when it comes to heat? Will it actually make my house hotter in the summer? In other words, how efficient is this concept?

Mom, I broke the window, can u please clean the shattered glass and scattered sand off the floor!!

My cats would have a field day

How long can sand move back and forth before it scars the glass? Eventually, it won’t be clear anymore—etched by countless grains, it stops being a window.

@LiveFree_n_Loud We can’t see you! (But we can hear you pretty well around the window seams.)

What's wrong with one way window? You can see out but nobody can look in.

It seems to be a novelty for interior use only.

What is natural gravity? Can you explain it?
