This woman explains how her contractor accidentally drywalled her cat inside the wall. Renovations gone wrong is an understatement.

Wall looks installed, taped, mudded and painted fast enough that the cat is still alive. Send me that contractor's number, I have more work for him.

The lady is the stupid one. Why would you let your pet freely roam around a worksite?

Contractor did nothing negligent. There was no possible way for him to know the cat snuck back there at some point.

How can she not have noticed that her cat wasn't showing up in 3 days?!? I notice when I don't see my cat for a few hours and I go looking for her! This homeowner obviously wasn't paying attention to her pet when someone was working on her home.

I have literally done this. Had to make a new hole for the idiot cat to get lured out of.

It is her fault. Lots of hiding spaces under an unfinished tub. How would he know the cat was there? She should keep small animals out of construction zones.

Always secure your pets when you’re having any kind service performed at your home. It’s for the safety of all involved. Basic common sense

is that the contractor’s fault or the stupid ahh cat?

That is impossible. It takes days from start to finish to do a tile shower surround. Plus, it's open framing, so it's impossible to miss a cat in a bay.

OK, that looks like a mausoleum that’s horrible. She should punch a hole in that whole wall., it’s her responsibility. She should know where her cat is.

I had a contractor do this same thing. Not their fault. My cat went exploring an open space. Contractor was just working and didn't see the cat go in. We got the car out fine. Didn't stop hon from exploring the air ducts and ending up on another condo. Glad you're cat is ok

owners fault.

Would say both. Like the owner could have put the cat in another room and close the door and the contractor should have looked before closing everything off especially when known that there are pets

To be fair, cats tend to want to “help” whatever you are doing.
